Since arriving here in Kiev, Ukraine a little over two years ago, the Lord has blessed Vanessa's ministry of post-abortion work. Presently over 100 women have finished the post-abortion Bible Study, Healing Hearts. Of the original 17 leaders who finished the training course in Sept of 2002, there are now 9 new leaders in Ukraine ministering to women who have had abortions. Currently there are approx. five different post-abortion Bible Study groups meeting. Below is a testimony from one of the women who has recently completed the Bible Study.

“This ministry helped me to look at the sin of child-murdering that we call “abortion” in a new way. And even though I didn’t really worry about my abortions in the past, now I went through it again and looked at it from God’s point of view. Only now I realize how much my Loving and Merciful God has forgiven me. During this ministry I learned to look at myself with God’s eyes, to see my imperfections, and to admit them. God is constantly changing me, I learned to forgive. Now I can share with others, minister to a woman who is on her way to have an abortion, support and show her the way to God. That is what I desire to do.”
